Stillington Industrial Estate Action Group (SIEAG)
The SIEAG was formed several years ago to establish greater links between the Companies who operate at Stillington, the residents of the village (Represented mainly by the Parish Council) and the police.
These links were forged at a time when petty vandalism and crime had reached a point where the residents and Companies felt that something needed to be done, by encouraging greater police activity to help combat issues and return the village to a more peaceful place for people to live and work in.
Over the years the local companies have also contributed in practical ways by for example paying for things such as the speeding signs, giving financial support to the renewal of the playground and to the annual village fete, to name a few.
The Police have contributed greatly by increasing the presence of officers and appointing a CPSO who is regularly seen around the village. The Parish Council and others have greatly helped by bringing issues to the group’s attention and working with Stockton Borough Council to obtain funding and support on a wide range of issues.
The SIEAG welcomes views, comments and attendance by residents of the village or other interested parties. SIEAG Meets approximately 4 times each year and the current main contributors are
